ARBITRATION BENEFIT PACKAGE
Mission: Black Mountain Conflict Resolution Services (BMCRS) specifically offers services to acupressure, alternative therapies, aromatherapy, biofeedback, colon hydrotherapy, homeopathy, hypnotism, massage therapy, naturopathy, neurotherapy, nutrition, reflexology, shiatsu and similar alternative health care professionals.
Services: Black Mountain Conflict Resolution Services offers prepaid arbitration and mediation services to TNTANA members as a benefit of membership. The public may purchase the same prepaid services for an annual fee of $250.00 US per person. Your membership papers will provide you with the proper language to insert in your informed consent form to activate this service. This language allows BMCRS to negotiate the best possible soilution under the circumstances.
Disclosure: However, if you harm your client, or if your client claims you harmed them, the courts probably will not recognize the results of arbitration or mediation. If your client threatens to file a lawsuit against you, contact your malpractice insurance company immediately. BMCRS does not provide any legal advice of any kind and does not practice law in any state or province.
If your client actually files a lawsuit against you, contact an attorney immediately. BMCRS will be a resource for both you and your attorney. If arbitration is in your favor, your client may refuse to pay anyway. Additionally, even though your client signs a promise to pay during mediation, your client may refuse to pay. When this happens, you need to decide how you will proceed. BMCRS cannot advise you in this decision. Your attorney can, but it may be in your best interest to cut your losses.
Arbitration and mediation don't always work, but they are usually your best option for an equitable solution.
When You Need Assistance: If you and your client reach an impasse on any issue pertaining to your biofeedback business, contact BMCRS immediately at 800-710-1539, ext. 2. BMCRS will assign an arbitrator/mediator to quickly resolve the differences between you.
Additional Fees: There are no additional fees to you, your client or your attorney for these services.
Other Services: The Black Mountain Conflict Resolution Services also offers Conflict Resolution Services as a benefit for TNTANA members.
Disclaimer: Any certified or licensed natural therapies professional may be able to purchase prepaid Arbitration and Conflict Resolutions Services from BMCRS for $65 a year by applying directly to BMCRS. You must be certified by an accredited certification board to qualify for purchasing this package directly from BMCRS. Members of TNTANA do not need to pay this fee as this benefit is a part of their membership benefit package.
Arbitration and Conflict Resolution Services are also available to both Class 3 and Class 4 Associate Members of TNTANA.
